E-Computing is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and develop our technical operations and service delivery across multiple clients and locations. You will play a pivotal role in managing a team of IT professionals, overseeing service quality, and driving technical excellence across cloud, infrastructure, and security environments.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a technically proficient manager who can balance strategy, delivery, and people management to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance management to maintain high service standards.
  • Oversee IT service delivery across multiple schools and business clients, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Manage and deliver complex IT projects including network redesigns, cloud migrations, and infrastructure upgrades aligned with business and educational goals.
  • Drive strategic planning and continuous improvement by implementing documentation standards, compliance processes, and technology roadmaps.
  • Monitor governance, data protection, and cybersecurity compliance while reporting on performance and risks to directors.
  • Manage and optimise Microsoft 365 environments including Entra ID / Azure AD, Intune, Defender, and Conditional Access.
  • Lead end-user device management across Windows, macOS, and occasional Linux systems.
  • Maintain internal IT security, backups, and identity governance.
  • Oversee VPN, firewalls, and corporate cloud tool configurations.
  • Drive automation and workflow optimisation across IT operations.
  • Develop and enforce policies for the responsible use of AI tools and automation.

Desirable
  • Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience in a similar IT management or technical leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing Microsoft 365 (Entra ID / Azure AD, Intune, Defender, Conditional Access).
  • Strong understanding of networking, VLANs, firewalls, routers, switches, and WAN management/configuration.
  • Demonstrable IT support experience managing delivery across multiple sites and projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Approach with a focus on documentation, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace.
  • Understanding of IT service management principles such as ITIL, ISO, or IEC 20000.
  • Experience leading technical projects within an MSP or educational environment.

E-computing is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join their small team where you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the end-user computing infrastructure, ensuring a reliable and efficient computing environment tailored to a wide array of diverse small businesses across England. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing end user compute solutions using various technologies, such as Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, etc.

Must Have skills

  • IT Bachelor's degree with 3 + years of relevant experience in below-mentioned areas
  • Manage the configuration and administration of end user applications, such as email, collaboration tools, cloud applications, etc
  • Lead the design and development of end user compute solutions using various technologies, such as Windows Operating Systems, Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, etc
  • Lifecycle management of all end user devices, keeping them supported, patched and secured
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Technicians on end user computing technologies, tools and best practices
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to understand the requirements and specifications of end user computing projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with end-users, technical teams, and vendors
  • Research and evaluate new end user computing technologies and trends to improve existing services.
  • Resolve escalated incidents and service requests, creating knowledge articles and managing problems.
  • Create and update documentation for end user computing systems and processes.

Desirable
  • ITIL and AGILE Frameworks
  • Any experience with iOS and Azure Virtual desktop would be advantageous
  • Knowledge data centre infrastructure installations including power, environmental and space layout considerations
  • Experience with Comm vault or Veeam backup and restore solutions
  • Proven experience as an EUC Infrastructure Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on managing and supporting end-user computing environments.
